Day six of my #hiddengemroadtrip through Scotland was world beating. After a one and a half hours drive from Findhorn Village Hostel I arrived at a course that I desperately wanted to play. Royal Dornoch Golf Club is in my opinion one of the finest golf courses in the world and therefore I was so unbelievably excited.

Well, I walked of with par as there was just a light breeze going on. The next hole, No. 15 with the tee boxes in the woodlands of the Baltic Sea you should play smart and just hit an iron from the tee. No need to play aggressive as the fairway is very narrow and the hole is short. I hit a straight shot for my approach. 140m left for my lay-up shot and I chose an 8 iron.
I slept very well and had a fantastic and comfortable night at Jessie Mac´s Guest House based in the village of Birnam in Perthshire. After a quick but full Scottish breakfast, I started my day with a very spontaneous but absolutely tremendous round at Kingussie GC. After, I headed over to my major goal of the day. I have followed Boat of Gartenwith strong interest on Twitter and was more than curious about this beauty. I arrived there around 2pm. The daylight was just perfect for a round of golf and some great pictures of the course.

My goodsundays.com signature hole was No.8 with just 346 yards not the longest but the hole description from the website of Bali National Golf Club describes the hole and how to play it pretty well. „An accurate tee shot through a wooded ravine to a left sloping fairway, with OB along the right side, makes driving accuracy paramount here. The pin placement on an elevated green, will determine the target landing area for your drive, which to score well, will need to be either right or left on the day.“ I was very proud that i played a par on this hole.

Well and I am dreaming about going back to #Scotland next season.
After the first exciting day in #Scotland I really needed to sleep well! On day two in ‘my heaven’ I woke up really early to make the most of the day. I jumped in the car before sunrise and headed over to the next gem. After a short but very picturesque drive through the Highlands of Golf Perthshire I arrived at Cargills Clubhouse & pitlochry golf. Like Crieff Golf Club, Pitlochry Golf Pro Shop can be classed as one of the truest and finest representations of inland golf in Scotland.
